Somerset Chamber Choir is a registered charity, committed to musical excellence and to developing opportunities for younger singers in the County, which will only be possible with additional investment. As part of this work, we are currently developing partnerships with youth choirs active in Somerset and are planning to stage joint concert performances with them in the future.
Running a choir like ours costs more than we can raise from ticket sales alone; even a sold-out concert may not cover costs. Financial support from our Friends and Supporters plays an essential role in enabling the choir to continue to make music of the highest standards, to share our joy in performing with our audiences, and to build an exciting future.

If you’re partial to a little online retail therapy, you can raise funds for us simply by using the Easyfundraising website here – all you have to do every time you decide to go shopping is to log into your Easyfundraising account and browse for all your favourite shopping stores. If they’re signed up to the scheme, you’ll be able to click through to their website and carry on shopping as usual - the goods available are exactly the same, but the difference is that Easyfundraising will donate a small percentage of the purchase price to the Choir. When opening your account, just make sure you select Somerset Chamber Choir as your chosen charity, then you’re ready to go!
